Will avoid this company like the plague. Sitting at red light, hit by Safeco insured from behind, driver apologizes, gets ticketed, and Safeco denies my claim to get my car fixed. Says I pulled out in front of their driver and I am at fault...lol..thats a lot of driving for sitting completely STOPPED at a red light. They think reputable insurers will not challenge them, mine is, and I hope their lawsuit costs them a lot more than the $1350 in damage to my vehicle. Companies like this need to shut down.. |

I was tired of convincing my parent to get me a car. It was Safeco that helped me at last. Now I have the teensurance which relieve my parents of all tensions. They have given me the freedom to drive my favorite car. They are saying that they trust in Safeco for the road side assistance and their safety assessment. I need not worry on dead batteries and flat tire which might skip my notice. Everything is taken care of by my Safeco.. |

I am so sick and tired of people complaining about their adjusters. I am an adjuster (not for Safeco, but I know adjusters who work for them) and I think that for the most part that insurance consumers are pissed because they are uneducated when it comes their polices and coverages. It is mostly black and white on what is and what is not covered. As for time frames I would say 90% of the time it is not the adjusters fault for being late in return calls, etc. - it is that of the company who does not have enough qualified employees. The amount of claims that we handle are huge. I work at least 50 hours per week and most of my colleages (within my company and at several others) work 6 days per week at 10 hours per day. WE are people, so please consider that when you dog us. I work hard to support my family not to make some person's life hard!. |

I had absolutely no problems when settling two claims within ten days of each other, one was deemed my fault because I drove an isured motorcycle with isurance and then GOT HIT from another driver. They paid ALL repairs on my bike and the other guy's 2005 jeep even though he hit me, since I had no motorcycle license it was automatically my fault. Then 10 days later I was driving my car and was t-boned by a 69 yr old man. Safeco gave me a rental immediately and the other guys insurance dealt with mine, i had my car back in one month after $6700 worth of repair for a Hyundai. I pay $141 a month for 100k/300k full coverage, uninsured and underinsured, pip, and liability on TWO vehicles. I pay only $343 a yr on my home insurance w them also on a 4/3 multi level home. My agent calls me back same day. Ya'll must have a bad agent if you do the foot work. I call and he changes it right then and sends me by email fax or mail the updated info. No problems! Safeco insurance is great unless you have a claim. No claims for 10 years. New 2007 Silverado; 2000 miles. Hit a deer. Safeco will only pay to bump out and car bondo. Will not pay for new parts. We will need to buy new parts out of our pocket.
